My name is Isabel -- I’m a Melbourne-based artist exploring culture and connection through evocative mixed-media works. I invite viewers to observe the world as I do — with obsession and wonder, drawn to fleeting moments.

My work centres on colourful, lyrical botanical compositions informed by place, memory, and shared experience. I use art as a vessel to explore culture as something lived and remembered rather than defined. Shaped by a multicultural upbringing, my work sits between belonging and distance, reflecting on childhood memories, tradition, and quiet moments of disconnection.

Art has been part of my life from an early age, and my practice has grown with discipline and intention. I often work in obsessive series, allowing myself to fully immerse in a concept. With a background in design, I approach each work with care and cohesion, creating space for connection to unfold.
